Payments & Cancellations:
When you book a reservation for a Product through the Website, GOTS collects your payment information and processes your payment as described below under “Payment Processing”. Full payment by credit or debit card is required to make a reservation. Payment will be listed as A&S Signature Holidays on the credit or debit card statement.
No refunds are available once a tour or service has commenced, or in respect of any package, accommodation, meals or any other services utilized.
If you wish to cancel a reservation made via the Website, the supplier’s cancellation policy contained in the applicable product listing will apply to, and govern the terms of, your cancellation and any refunds. When canceling a booking, you will be notified via email or telephone of the total refund amount you will receive, if any.
The standard cancellation policy is:
- Cancellation policy for the day tours” without flights”:100% refund will be back until 48 hours from the tour time.
- Cancellation policy for packages and day tours with flights:
From the date of booking until 61 days before your arrival date, it’s free to cancel your booking
Between 60 and 30 days before your arrival date, 30% of the entire tour price will be charged.
Between 29 and 15 days before your arrival date, 50% of the entire tour price will be charged.
Between 14 and 7 days before your arrival date, 75% of the entire tour price will be charged.
Between 6 days and 1 day before your arrival date, 100% of the entire tour price will be charged.
Refunds will be done only through the Original Mode of Payment
If No refund policy/cancellation policy, this must be very clearly communicated to Cardholders before the purchase decision is made, to prevent misunderstanding and disputes. Kindly add the following statement:
In the event that transaction error has occurred while making the payment, a refund in most cases will be issued to the same credit card you used for the original purchase.
REFUNDS:
A refund will normally be made to the same card account and using the same method as the original payment.
No refunds are possible for No-Show
If You Have A Complaint:
We aim to provide the best tour possible. If you have a complaint while you are in Egypt. Please notify the company immediately, as most problems can be solved on the spot, if you feel your problem has still not been resolved please call you must contact us at the given Email ID or Phone Number. No complaints or refund requests for the same be entertained after the tour ends.
Important Notes:
- All prices include current entrance fees as charged by the Egyptian Antiquities Authority. Should these be increased at any point, the same increase will be passed on to you at that time.
- The price of all flights is based on Egypt Air rates and is subject to change by Egypt Air without prior notice.
- For last-minute bookings made within the 30 period prior to arrival, the same cancellation penalties will be applied. If you are not holding a deposit from your client, please let us know that the booking is still on option to avoid incurring cancellation fees.
- No refunds, credit or alternative services for cancelled or missed services are issued if the change has been made while the client is in Egypt.
COVID-19 Release of Liability:
By booking with us at this time, you acknowledge the highly contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risk for yourself and any minors traveling with you that you or they may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19 by traveling and that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, permanent disability, and death even if such injuries or losses occur in a manner that is not foreseeable at the time you book your tour. You acknowledge that exposure to such viruses or disease is an inherent risk of traveling, that cannot be controlled or eliminated by the Tour Operator. You acknowledge that – due to the uncertainty of travel at this time – your tour may be postponed or cancelled or changes may be made to itineraries due to closures of certain sites or activities, for which our COVID-19 Release of Liability shall be in effect. None of these modifications or changes listed in the „COVID-19 Release of Liability” section shall affect the tour price or entitle the Traveler to any credit or refund.
You may also be required to quarantine upon arrival in some locations. Some locations may require you to have a vaccination or proof of a negative test. You may have additional reentry requirements on your return home. You are responsible for understanding these requirements and must not rely on the Tour Operator to provide these details. You understand that you may become sick before, during, or after the tour and may not be able to travel and such cancellation or interruption will be subject to our cancellation terms, for which we will not be liable. If you test positive during the tour, you may be required to spend a certain period in isolation or quarantine at a hotel. The Tour Operator shall cover the cost of the Traveler’s stay at the hotel until the last day of the Traveler’s tour, including additional nights at hotels booked earlier through the Tour Operator.
This applies only when the hotel used by the Traveler is the same as in the tour package offered by the Tour Operator. You, for yourself, and any minors traveling with you, and on behalf of your and their heirs, assigns, personal representatives, and next of kin (The Releasers), hereby release, and hold harmless the Tour Operator, its members, officers, agents, and/or employees, Suppliers, and other tour members (releases), of from and against any and all claims, damages, demands, losses, and liability arising out of or related in any way, in whole or in part to any postponement, cancellation, changes, injury, disability, death or any other loss you may suffer due to exposure, infection, spread, closure, and travel restrictions related to COVID-19, whether arising from the negligence of the releasees or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law. The terms of this hold harmless and release of all liability paragraph shall survive any termination or cancellation of this Contract, whether by operation of law or otherwise.
